I have had ISA in our shop on numerous occasions for mechanical repair inspections. I have found their service to be accurate and detailed. Their response time has always been within the guidelines set forth by the service contract companies involved.
The majority of my practice involves the representation of auto dealerships. One of my clients and I used Inspection Services of America in our defense of a claim brought by a disgruntled customer. The claim was an action of negligence on the part of my client's mechanics in the service of the plaintiff's automobile. ISA was called in to inspect the alleged motor vehicle damage.
ISA prepared a written report, complete with photographs, which, in my opinion, was pivotal to the proof of our case. They also testified on our behalf at trial regarding the conclusions of his report. Only through the help of ISA were we able to successfully prove that the motor vehicle's engine damage was due to improper maintenance by the vehicle's owner, and not through any negligence of our mechanics.
Without the help of Inspection Services of America, I seriously doubt whether we would have been able to defeat the plaintiff's claim. I would recommend this service wholeheartedly to any party in a similar position.
